- Makhadu Town (Louis Trichardt): less than 1 hour’s drive
- We are situated less than one hour’s drive from Makhadu (Louis Trichardt). Louis Trichardt is a medium sized town in Limpopo that offers some great shopping opportunities, restaurants and museums.
- En-route to Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Botswana:
- Bennie Osmers Hunting Safaris is en-route to Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Botswana. We can easily arrange trips for our guests to our neighouring states.
- Trips to Venda: 1 hour's drive
- Experience the culture and traditional clay pot making at this historical Venda settlement. Also visit some of the interesting curio shops with hand-made items and art.
- Trips to Kruger National Park: less than 1 hour’s drive
- We are situated less than one hour’s drive from the world renowned Kruger National Park. We can arrange trips to this astonishing game reserve.
- Mapungubwe National Heritage Site: approximately 1½ hour’s drive
- Mapungubwe National Heritage Site is a well-known national game reserve that is situated approximately one and a half hour’s drive from us. After your unique South Africa hunting safari you can visit this reserve with stunning sunsets and natural beauty.
- Verdun Ruins: less than 30 minutes drive
- This ruin site is one of South Africa’s oldest and well-preserved historical sites that was previously part of an old Venda settlement.
- Bird Watching:
- The Limpopo Province has more than 350 bird species that offers bird watchers the opportunity to study some of South Africa’s most beautiful and rare bird species.
- Ratho Game Farm / Rakwena Crocodile Farm: approximately 1½ hour's drive
- This game farm and crocodile ranch offers birding, tented camping, hiking trails, game drives (day or night), a curio shop / tuck shop and more. 'Where the true heart of Africa still beats'.
- Nwanedi Provincial Park: approximately 1½ hour's drive
- This scenic nature and game reserve on the foothills of the Venda mountains is characterised by the varied landscapes and rich diversity of animals. The reserve offers a camping site, tented camps and is also home to the Eclipse Safari Lodge with a variety of facilities and activities on offer.
- Popallin Golf Course: approximately 2 hour's drive
- A D.D.V. Design Par 3, 4 and 5 golf course ranging from 127 meters to 435 meters long. The course is a nine hole course with eighteen tees. Total length is 4000 meters. It is completely fenced in and safe from the big five.
